Jensen Speaker Solutions At the birth of amplified music, Jensen Alnico speakers played a pivotal role in developing sound, design and tone. And while the options have increased and the designs have evolved, Jensen still bases its designs on the same simplicity and key elements that made them Fender’s early choice. Available through CE Distribution, they remain a great choice for your rig if you’re looking to upgrade your tone.

Of course, there are lots of stops on the tone train, especially when it comes to speaker selection, and the decision can be a difficult one. To assist in your relentless pursuit of tone, Jensen has developed the “Jensen Tone Chart,” which can be used to help pick out the perfect speaker for your needs. You can check out a selection of Jensen speakers in the chart below.

Jensen Alnico speakers are made with magnets containing aluminum, nickel and cobalt, producing a sweet, warm, vintage tone. These speakers are ideal for players operating at low settings, and complement blues, jazz and mellow rock styles well. Responding quickly, Alnico speakers provide musicians with that coveted “one with the amp” feeling.

If you need a little more power, you’d be wise to check out the new Jensen Jet “Blackbird,” with 100 watts of pure Alnico tone – the highest wattage Alnico speaker ever made. This slick, black speaker sings at all levels with a smooth, modern tone while retaining that Alnico responsiveness.

If you’re not in the market for Alnico, check out the Jenson Neodymium (“Neo”). Created with the raw material Neodymium, the speakers are high-powered but lightweight. The specialty of the Neo speakers is their ability to create a clear and clean sound which will compliment any type of guitar tone put through it.

Whatever sound you’re looking to produce, Jensen’s got you covered. For more information on these speakers, or to see the complete Jensen Tone Chart, point your browser to cedistribution.com.

I have the Jet Tornado in my 5E3,Ran it for the first time yesterday. Highs are very creamy yet very articulate. The Mids are more aggressive/dominate and it appears to have a deeper bass range. Compared to the original Neo which I loved (but found it a bit ice picky), I think it has more Celestion flavor. Jensen has really broken the mold this time, I would not limit this speaker to just Fender voiced amps!
