Our guitar of the month is such an extreme rarity that there is only one in existence. This 89-year-old beauty made by Martin employee, Grant Remaley, has remarkable features for its time period including high-grade, handpicked koa top, back and sides; a factory pickguard; and an ebony board and bridge with a superior snowflake inlay. Like any well-crafted guitar, this one keeps getting better with age.

The guitar is in great shape. I have not seen one with a pick guard before. The fretboard is style 45 snowflake with diamonds, squares, and cats eyes. A nice upgrade for a style 28. The koa is well figured with lots of flame. I'd like to see the back as well. What backstripe is used?
