This gorgeous guitar comes compliments of Johnny Edwards at Coffin Case, and is numbered #0099.
This was found in an Alaskan attic, and had one prior owner.

In 1968/1969, I was going through the Good Will store in Seattle. I played bass at the time but was keeping my eye out for an inexpensive guitar. I saw the neck of a guitar sticking out from behind some boxes in the back room (not in the sale area). I asked someone there if I could look at it. I looked at it and decided to ask how much they wanted for it. They told me $6. I purchased it. After getting home and checking it out, it was a Broadcaster - SSN: 0069. (I never heard of it) I learned later it was the 69th guitar Fender produced. I loaned it to a guitar player I was working with, Doug Hastings. He played it for a year or so and then I took it back. A few years later I traded it in for a GMT power head. Just one of my many mistakes I've made in my life. So out there somewhere is a vintage Broadcaster. It may be in the Seattle area. That's where I traded it in. Damn!
